As Director of Public Affairs, Kerry Lynch executes communications and legislative strategies for clients, manages internal communications efforts and leads client development initiatives for the firm. Additionally she developed and directs the Crop Insurance and Reinsurance Bureau’s Emerging Leaders Program, to build the next generation of leaders in the crop insurance industry.
Joining the firm in 2014, Kerry brings a variety of communications skills, previously working in both media relations and event planning roles at the National Turkey Federation, the Animal Agriculture Alliance and the Society of Wine Educators.
At the Animal Agriculture Alliance, Kerry worked on crisis communication efforts, brand management, and membership development. She assisted with strategic planning and creation of a unified coalition group. While at the Society of Wine Educators, Kerry designed marketing pieces for national publications and coordinated the annual meeting.
Originally from North Carolina, Kerry grew up riding horses on her family’s farm in Marshall, Virginia. She holds an MBA from Shenandoah University in Virginia and bachelor’s degree in communications-public relations from N.C. State University. She currently serves as an N.C. State alumni leader for the D.C. network hosting game watches for football and basketball season.
