As Director of Operations, Pinegar oversees office operations and assists with multiple association management priorities, including meeting planning, member services and administrative duties.
Prior to joining Michael Torrey Associates in September 2017, Megan worked for U.S. Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS). Most recently, Megan served as Senator Moran’s Director of Operations where she oversaw the office’s administrative budget, coordinated events, developed office policies and was responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring and managing all new employees. In addition to her role as Director of Operations, Megan served as the Senator’s IT professional and system administrator.
Before working for Senator Moran, Megan served as the Special Projects Director for Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt. Megan grew up in Mount Hope, Kansas, and has a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University. She lives in Washington, D.C., and is active in her community.
