PR: MTA Welcomes Julie McClure as a Director of Government Affairs
Michael Torrey Associates (MTA) welcomes Julie McClure as a Director of Government Affairs. The Washington, D.C.-based firm offers effective government relations, strategic communications and issue advocacy as well as full-service association management to a growing number of clients in the food, agriculture, and forestry sector.

While at the Societies Julie created and managed an advocacy leadership training program that has fostered more than 30 grasstop advocates who serve as local advocacy leaders. Julie began her policy career as the Science Policy Fellow at the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
“Julie is uniquely qualified not only because she brings a great mix of policy, communications and strategic thinking to the table, but also has a strong science background, making her a great asset to our team and clients,” said firm principal Michael Torrey.
