Torrey Advisory Group (TAG) is proud to welcome Matthew Hughes to our Operations team. The Washington, D.C.-based firm offers effective government relations, strategic communications, and issue advocacy as well as full-service association management to a growing number of clients in the food, agriculture, and forestry sector.
Matthew joins the team as operations coordinator, where he provides business operations support and technical assistance to staff and clients. Prior to joining the team, Matthew was a temporary assistant at Beacon Hill Staffing.
“The team and I are really thrilled about Matthew’s new role with the firm. His interest and passion around systems and operations will be a great addition to our current administrative team, as well as play a key role in ensuring our firm can continue to best serve our clients,” said firm principal Michael Torrey.
Matthew is a Virginia native and graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a Master of Business Administration (MBA). During his time there, he was the Captain of the Men’s Lacrosse team.
